Father, A Moment With You — Coming May 8
We’re so excited to finally share that our brand new album, Father, A Moment With You, will be released on May 8!
This project is especially meaningful to us. Over the past few years, we’ve had the chance to meet so many of you after shows, hear your stories, and walk through different seasons of life alongside you. When we started working on this album, we wanted to create something that spoke directly to those moments, both the hard ones and the joyful ones, and ultimately point back to the faithfulness of God through it all.
The album includes 11 tracks, with 7 original songs, 3 hymns that have meant a lot to us over the years, and one song from our friend Zach White. It is a little more personal than anything we have done before, and we are really grateful to be able to share it with you.
If you would like to support the project, one of the best ways you can do that is by pre saving the album. Pre saving tells streaming platforms that people are excited about the release, which helps the music reach more listeners when it comes out.

Ellen Haygood
Ellen puts her master’s degree in marketing to work serving as the band’s full-time marketer. She also sings and plays banjo, which she did on season 14 of American Idol, making it all the way to the top 48. In January of 2020, Ellen married Michael Haygood of The Haygoods, another performing family in Branson.

Europe, NewsThe Petersens on the Road – September 2025! We’ve got some exciting news to share — this September, we’re packing up our instruments and heading across the Atlantic! We’ll be bringing our blend of American roots music to audiences in Germany and Denmark, and we can’t wait to meet friends old and new along the way. Here’s where you can find us – click the location and date for tickets and more information: Offenbach am Main, Germany – September 13 Just outside Frankfurt, Offenbach is known for its riverside charm and history of leather craftsmanship. We’re ready to kick off the tour with some toe-tappin’ energy here! Bochum, Germany – September 14Once a heart of Germany’s coal and steel industry, Bochum is now a vibrant cultural hub. We’re looking forward to bringing a little Ozark warmth to its lively music scene. Burg Seevetal, Germany – September 15Playing in a town with “Burg” (castle) in its name feels like a fairytale already. We can’t wait to see the beautiful countryside and meet the folks who call it home. Berlin, Germany – September 16History, art, and music everywhere you turn. We’re honored to play in Germany’s capital and soak up some of that creative spirit. Kolding, Denmark – September 18A coastal town with a castle right in the middle — sounds like the perfect place for some harmony singing. Greve, Denmark – September 19Just south of Copenhagen, Greve’s mix of seaside beauty and city energy is calling our name. Aarhus, Denmark – September 20Denmark’s “City of Smiles” will be the final stop on this trip. We couldn’t imagine a better place to wrap things up than in a city known for its warmth and friendliness. Our fiddles, banjos, and guitars are ready for the adventure, and so are we. Some of these places will be brand new for us, and others are spots we’ve dreamed of visiting for years. We can’t wait to swap stories, share songs from home, and maybe even pick up a few tunes along the way.
